Ryan led product design and strategy for eBay’s value-added services product framework and UI system, establishing a unified foundation across 13 business units. He partnered closely with Product, Engineering, and Research to align stakeholders around a shared vision. Facilitating co-creation workshops, defining scalable guidelines, and developing core components adopted into the broader design system. The work brought clarity and consistency to complex service offerings while enabling faster, more cohesive product development across the organization.
Pixel Pass
Launching a first of its kind hardware as 
a service model for Google Pixel.
Ryan led design for Google’s Pixel Pass, the company’s first integrated hardware-and-services subscription, unifying a Pixel phone, premium digital services, and device protection into one seamless monthly experience. He drove the end-to-end, omnichannel strategy across web, retail, and support, aligning teams across Pixel, YouTube, Play, and Google One to make a complex cross-product offering feel simple, cohesive, and trustworthy. The work helped establish a new ecosystem model for how Google bundles hardware and services together.

Modernizing Google Store's product personalization and purchase experience for a growing Pixel portfolio.
Ryan led design for hardware personalization and the buy flow on Google Store, reimagining how customers configure and purchase devices across global markets. He drove the end-to-end experience strategy, grounded in user research and market insights, to simplify complex configuration decisions and create a seamless, intuitive path to purchase. The work modernized the shopping experience and established a scalable foundation for hardware commerce across regions and product lines.

In partnership with Pentagram, Ryan undertook the challenge of developing the Color&Co app, designed to provide users with customized hair color recommendations and an engaging, user-friendly experience.
